Today, I had the great honor to be a member of the Jury of the Margaretner Womens Award 2016 together with the fabulous Actress Katharina Stemberger (right) and the Manager of the Filmcasino-Cinema, Sabine Hofmann (left). The name of the award is „The Margareta„. This „Margareta“ recognizes outstanding achievements of women and is awarded annually by the District Chairwoman, Susanne Schaefer-Wiery. The price values the work of dedicated women and makes them visible to the public. This year the topic of the award was „Civil Society — Civil Courage„. The Margaretner Womans Award is aimed at women, legal persons — other than political parties and local authorities — as well as projects. It is endowed with 1,500 Euros. The award will be presented as part of the Women’s Day on 3rd of March at the Amtshaus Margareten.

Jean-Michel, un des grands journalistes Français et un de mes très proches amis, est en train de lire mon livre „Forces spéciales contre la terreur„. La sécurité intéresse les Français, car ils sont confrontés chaque jour aux mesures données par l‘ état Français, qui vient d‘ ailleurs de prolonger ce que l‘ on appelle l‘ état d‘ urgence. Cet état d‘ urgence est une situation spéciale, une forme d‘ état d‘ exception qui restreint les libertés et qui vise la prévention des actes terroristes.
