JUDITH GROHMANN

Meeting in Paris this January 30. Januar 2015

Filed under: News — Judith Grohmann @ 17:16

This January I came to France to prepare myself for a brandnew project this year. In Paris I met exciting people from the world of literature, economy and from the international Think Tank – the independent research and debate institution dedicated to international affairs – the IFRI. Then I met several politicians and – of course – my dearest friends and colleagues, that I didn‘ t see for a long time. Each day we ate many „Croissants“ as well as „Pains au chocolat“ and we went to french „Bistros„. We took long walks around Paris. One day, I saw the house and the steps which are supposed to be the place where the french singer „Edith Piaf“ was born, in 72, rue de Belleville in the 20th district. The next day I stood in front of the „Marianne“ at the Place de la Republique, it is the French Goddess of Liberty in Bronze. For sure this trip to Paris has given me much power for all my new projects. I will tell you more about that soon… Because now this special french project is still ongoing and therefore a „secret mission“… ;-))

Filed under: News — Judith Grohmann @ 14:57

The Jubilee Event at the Occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research took place in Vienna from Sunday, 14th of September to Wednsday 17th of September. I was invited as a guest of the Executive Director of the European Center for Social Welfare and Research, Professor Dr. Bernd Marin, to attend this extraordinary Symposium. I got an interesting view to the Future of Welfare and also the chance, to meet many researchers who work all over the World. The Conference took place at the Austrian Academy of Science and at the Vienna International Center of the United Nations in Vienna.
