In 2023, Judith Grohmann co-produced and wrote her first documentary film about Sebastian Kurz, the former Austrian Chancellor and the youngest head of government in the world at the age of 31. The documentary follows Kurz’s meteoric rise to power, his ambitious reform agenda, his controversial immigration policies, and his complex relationships with coalition partners. It also examines the major crises and scandals that marked his time in office, including the Ibiza affair, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the corruption allegations that ultimately led to his resignation. Through interviews, archival footage, and political analysis, the film explores both the strengths and vulnerabilities of a charismatic leader who shaped Austrian politics for nearly a decade.

An updated version of the 2023 Sebastian Kurz documentary is currently in development, featuring new insights, additional material, and previously untold perspectives.
